The Sindh government has issued a formal notification declaring a holiday across Sindh on Saturday, December 27, 2025, on the occasion of the eighth death anniversary of Prime Minister and Chairperson of the Pakistan People’s Party Benazir Bhutto.

The notification issued by the Sindh government states that all government institutions across Sindh will remain closed on Saturday. The martyrdom anniversary of former Prime Minister of Pakistan, Ms. Benazir Bhutto, will be observed on December 27.
سندھ حکومت نے وزیر اعظم اور پاکستان پیپلز پارٹی کی چیئرپرسن بے نظیر بھٹو کی آٹھویں برسی کے موقع پر ہفتہ 27 دسمبر 2025 کو سندھ بھر میں تعطیل کا باضابطہ نوٹیفکیشن جاری کر دیا ہے۔ سندھ حکومت کی جانب سے جاری نوٹیفکیشن میں کہا گیا ہے کہ سندھ بھر کے تمام سرکاری ادارے ہفتے کو بند رہیں گے۔ پاکستان کی سابق وزیراعظم محترمہ بے نظیر بھٹو کا یوم شہادت 27 دسمبر کو منایا جائے گا۔

Sindh Government Aims to declare December 27 a Holiday
The Sindh government observes this day as a holiday every year and various events are organized by the Pakistan People’s Party on this day. It is worth noting that Benazir Bhutto was martyred on December 27, 2007, in a public meeting in Rawalpindi. On December 27, 2025, as before, this day of Ms. Benazir Bhutto will be celebrated with sorrow and various events will be organized so that her destination in the afterlife is easy.
